We did both tours with Nathan, the Thursday night tour of Menin Gate for the last post, and the full day tour. Both were excellent value and a great experience. We were indeed fortunate as Aussies that the night we went to Menin Gate there was an Australian Wreath Laying ceremony to commemorate the identifying of a ”lost soldiers” remains in Flanders Fields.Nathan provides a very informative tour and the small number of participants makes for a personal touch. Thanks Nathan, we highly recommend both tours.

An excellent tour which we would recommend to anyone interested in the history of the First World War. The small group size is an added bonus as we could ask questions easily. We could also see some of the more difficult areas to access such as the football match site played during the Christmas truce 1914.

Thank you Nathan.

Our group of 5 spent the day with Nathan on 21st October, 2008. It was fantastic - very informative and moving. Nathan is extremely knowledgeable and good company. As we are Scottish, we enjoyed seeing the new memorial and learning about its position. We also enjoyed the museum visits - something we may not have done by ourselves. Lunch was good. A personal feeling is that we would have liked more time at the Menin Gate, but that is a minor negative.
Fantastic value - recommended day trip.

We took the Flanders Field tour with Nathan on 22/10/08.
The tour was one of the most informative, descriptive and heart wrenching experiences we have ever known, the sheer magnitude of WW1 (The War to end all wars) was not something we knew much about but brilliantly brought to life by Nathan.
Something we shall never forget as we shall NEVER forget the soldiers who gave their lives.

My family including our two sons (both teenagers) took a full day tour with Nathan in July 2008. His knowledge and passion of the WWI events in the area was captivating. Despite it raining most of the day, he was able to show us many interesting sites in a concise and entertaining way. I know it would have been very difficult to tour this area on our own. Our boys thought it was the best part of our trip--the ultimate endoursement!
