We took the Flanders Field tour with Nathan on 22/10/08.
The tour was one of the most informative, descriptive and heart wrenching experiences we have ever known, the sheer magnitude of WW1 (The War to end all wars) was not something we knew much about but brilliantly brought to life by Nathan.
Something we shall never forget as we shall NEVER forget the soldiers who gave their lives.

My family including our two sons (both teenagers) took a full day tour with Nathan in July 2008. His knowledge and passion of the WWI events in the area was captivating. Despite it raining most of the day, he was able to show us many interesting sites in a concise and entertaining way. I know it would have been very difficult to tour this area on our own. Our boys thought it was the best part of our trip--the ultimate endoursement!

We can only state what everyone else on this site has stated, Nathan is fantastic, this tour is ideal for it’s easy approach, there are no large tour buses involved, this is personal with just 8 of you at the most in a minibus that can take you to places and sights the big bus companies cannot even reach.
The meal in Ypres was an excellent touch.
Thankyou for opening our eyes to the horror we knew so little about.

Hello, Nathan,
My husband and I were on your tour with another American couple on Friday, September 26, 2008. It was a day with blue sky and sunshine. The Belgian countryside was beautiful and a contrast to the dark and painful history that we learned about from you. I read many of the comments about your tour; there is little I can add. I confirm that you make it an incredible tour of sites and your knowledge informs what we see.
I read The Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman (1962)before our trip but she details only the causes and the first month or so of the Great War. I learned so much more from you. Thank you. Laurie Hildebrandt
