Hi Nathan, it was great meeting you on wednesday, both sue and myself had what can be best described as the best guided tour we have ever experienced. IT was refreshing to meet a guide who had not just a fantastic knowledge of ww1 but also was warm and freindly. Our apologys for getting the mix up at meeting point outside the musuem !!!!! i realise this set you back 25 mins . I have studied ww1 at university as part of my thesis and you filled in several areas that no amount of footage , books, lectures could ever accomplish. I will recommend you to friends and family. all the best and maybe see you next year to see or hear thelast post , many thanks oh and thankypu for the bullet and shell head you gave me . steve ps i enjoyed the brewery you dropped us at !!!!

Dear Nathan
Margaret and I want to thank you for a very interesting and moving visit to the Ypres Salient and Passchedale last week, very appropriately in the pouring rain!!
Even so how can we possibly ever imagine just what it was really like.
The second visit to the Last Post with the laying of wreaths at the Menin Gate was even more moving.
We had never realised that this is performed every day of the year and since returning I have been talking to a school teacher friend whose school has sent pupils to the ceremony more than once.
Your knowledge and expertise were a key factor in a rewarding visit and we shall have no hesitation in recommending your company to friends.
Thank you again very much
Jeremy and Margaret

Thank you very much Nathan for your evening tour on 2 Oct 07. We were fortunate to have just enough daylight for Tyne Cot - a humbling experience.
Your infectious enthusiasm for the historical detail and your evident delight in informing us made the visit to Ieper memorable.
We’ll be back for sure for a day tour.

Myself and 6 friends took the full day tour. We had a wonderful day with Nathan, who is a marvellous guide. He is very knowledgeable, interesting and helpful. All the sites visited were relevent and informative, but mostly very, very moving. There was nothing that was too much for Nathan to make our tour truely memorable, even to the extent that I made an enquiry about a trench system that I had seen on television, Nathan said ”no problem I’ll take you there next”. How many other tour guides would show so much willingness to please? Thank you Nathan! I highly recommend this tour to anyone with even a passing interest in WW1, and especially the Ypres Salient.
