Thank you very much Nathan for your evening tour on 2 Oct 07. We were fortunate to have just enough daylight for Tyne Cot - a humbling experience.
Your infectious enthusiasm for the historical detail and your evident delight in informing us made the visit to Ieper memorable.
We’ll be back for sure for a day tour.

Myself and 6 friends took the full day tour. We had a wonderful day with Nathan, who is a marvellous guide. He is very knowledgeable, interesting and helpful. All the sites visited were relevent and informative, but mostly very, very moving. There was nothing that was too much for Nathan to make our tour truely memorable, even to the extent that I made an enquiry about a trench system that I had seen on television, Nathan said ”no problem I’ll take you there next”. How many other tour guides would show so much willingness to please? Thank you Nathan! I highly recommend this tour to anyone with even a passing interest in WW1, and especially the Ypres Salient.

An excellent and educational day.  Nathan is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide.  My two daughters, aged 11 and 13, also came on the daytour and thoroughly enjoyed it - especially exploring the trenches and encountering the poison gas in the Passchendaele museum!

Nathan is a brilliant guide, and also courteous and highly considerate. He’s a good and safe driver, and his knowledge of the WW1 background and its sites is excellent. Thank you so much for a deeply memorable visit.

We went on the full day tour on Saturday 25 August 07. I would highly recommend this tour, as it is excellent value for the money with all the ‘extras’ included in the price. The tour was a well-balanced combination of a variety of sites over a wide area of Flanders, excellent, detailed preparatory information provided by Nathan, some accompanied viewing and, importantly for us, adequate time to ourselves to absorb the atmosphere. The small, yet maximum group of eight on our tour ensured the personal touch, always being able to hear explanations, unlike when we have previously been part of a large group. Finally, as we were not staying in Bruges but travelling there by train that morning, the convenience of being picked up at the railway station at 8. 45am and returned there was brilliant – so don’t let the fact you are not staying in Bruges stop you going on this great tour with Nathan!
