A sincere “thank you”, Nathan, for a truly memorable day on 9th June.
It’s hard to add anything that hasn’t already been said in the well-deserved commendations you’ve already accumulated in your Guestbook. Your splendid organisation of the day, your friendly approach, continual insightful commentary, and varied choice of sites all combined to make a very special and emotionally moving experience. Never remove the visit to the Canadian Memorial from your itinerary!
To anyone contemplating taking a tour of the Ypres area we would say that your mini-bus tour is far to be preferred to that of a bus-load of people. No herding! And the peace to quietly think one’s own thoughts.
With our thanks and all good wishes,
Kathleen & Robert, Insch, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Dear Nathan,

Thank you again for an informative and extremely well-organized day tour of the WWI battlefields around Ieper. Looking back, I am amazed at how much we saw in just one day -- many places I wouldn’t have found on my own. Yet I never felt rushed. The pacing was suburb, with a relaxing break for lunch at a restaurant frequented by local residents. Your commentary was insightful and your English was excellent. I highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Bruges.

With kind regards,

Charles Bjork

Hi Nathan, Thank you for a very informative and moving day on 25 April, ANZAC Anniversary (90 years on). I think we all learnt a great deal.
I found the authors’ name I could not remember, it is Richard Holmes,(he was/is the Lt.Col for the reserves & used to lecture at Royal Military College Shrivenham).

I was fortunate to hear a lecture a few years ago in Bedford by him, which was very interesting - another enthusiast!

Your enthusiasm, knowledge and linguistic skills are wonderful. All the best for the future.

Regards Andy, Pauline and Claire
