Last August myself and 2 of my family went on the full day tour. Nathan was an excellent guide. In the small group were; Canadian, British and us New Zealanders. He tailored the tour to cater for all our nationalities. Nathan was very knowledgeable and covered a great deal of ground that was relevant to our nationalities. He also had a clear understanding of the history of our countries at this particular time as well as WW! itself

The lunch provided was an enjoyable experience.

I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Thank you Nathan! I was on the trip on the 20th March 2015 - it was an amazing experience, and I’m so pleased I did it. You are a great person to learn from, thank you so much for a memorable experience.

We were very lucky when Nathan had a cancellation enabling us to join his party(total of 8 a perfect size)on Friday 20/3.After picking us up his initial introductory chat on the issues and events in the late 19th cent and pre war was succinct and extremely helpful before we visited many sites of interest with Nathan’s commentary bringing the bleak Flanders landscapes too life.
Obviously the cemeteries are moving.Lunch in Ypres was good .Its a full day-my only minor gripe is that an hour or so at each of the 2 superb museums in Ypres and Passchendaele does not give enough time but this is unavoidable and should be perhaps regarded as a taster for a return visit.
Again I must repeat Nathan our guide made the day, personalising some of the stops to meet the needs of the American and New Zealand members of the party

This was a brilliant tour and well worth the money. Nathan has a tremendous knowledge of WW1 and the events leading up to the outbreak of war. The mix of museum visits and touring around the actual places where significant events happened was a blend that worked exceptionally well. I would strongly recommend this tour.

This tour is excellent! Nathan is incredibly knowledgeable about WWI and everything Belgian and French in general.

The tour hits a number of classic spots as well as some side-road type places which most tours or individuals likely would’ve skipped over. It’s at places like these, where you get to hold formerly buried artifacts, that the story of the Great War really comes to life!

With a pleasant Flemish lunch, two great museums, and plenty of inserting stops, this is a powerful tour which is well worth it!
