We experienced a wonderful day with Nathan in late September 2013. Nathan’s comprehensive knowledge and profound respect for this period of history, together with his flexibility, efficiency and friendliness made our day totally memorable.
We undertook a combined daytour and Last Post tour, with some free time in Ypres in late afternoon/early evening. Both tours were superb experiences, and are to be thoroughly recommended. In addition, Nathan incorporated a very moving and special visit to our great uncle’s grave at Ljissienthok, for which we were very grateful.
We recommend Nathan’s tours without reservation, and thank him publicly for making the day a very special time in our lives.

We attended Nathan’s tour on 19/04 and had a wonderful day. Nathan’s knowledge is second to none and we learnt so much on our day with him.
The tour is excellent value for money with the amount of stops and museum entry. The lunch is also delicious and a lot more than a standard ”packed lunch”. The whole tour is extremely well planned by Nathan and the day ran so smoothly.

Nathan is a wonderful guide and we can not sing his praises enough, his English is also excellent. He was extremely attentive and we would 100% recommend anyone thinking about booking this tour, to stop thinking and book with him.

Thank you for a wonderful day Nathan

Took the full day tour with Nathan on 20/4 and had a fantastic time. He spoke at length about all aspects of the war and was able to answer all our questions in depth. The day was timed perfectly with plenty of time at each site and museum.

The small group sizes meant you could ask questions throughout the day and also allows Nathan to individually tailor your day and improvise throughout the day.

Extremely good value for money with entry to museums and lunch included.
Would recommend to anyone, even those with little interest in WWI history.

Keep up the good work Nathan.

I would highly recommend this tour, Nathan is an excellent and knowledgable guide who ensures the visit lives up to your expectations. I was very moved by the sheer scale of the landscape and diversity of interest from all over the world. It presents great value for money and provided a detailed insight into the events that led up to World War 1 and the great battles that ensued. The Last Post is a ’must do’ in my opinion, providing a perspective of how the fallen are commemorated by so many people every single day. make sure you have your tissues handy. A big thank you to Nathan, who takes his sugbject very seriouisly, is a great scholar, and has a compassionate approach to the needs of his clients.
