This was an excellent tour and Nathan was superb. His knowledge of history leading up to WW1 was first class so the explanation of events just before the war was insightful. His knowledge of the area, battles, cemeteries I would say is second to none.
I had contacted him before hand and between myself and Nathan we had researched where my Grandfather had fought and died in April and May 1915. He incorporated all the places leading up to his death within the tour.
Brilliant and excellent value for money. Lunch was very good too. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour and Nathan to anyone and have already recommended to several friends due to visit. I was in the same tour as Belinda who has already left her comments and I agree with all she said.

The information given & tour arrangements & visits were excellent. It certainly put the carnage of the war into perspective for us.

I did this tour with a friend recently in May 2013. What a surprise. I am not a big WW1 buff but the tour was very educational and well conduted by nathan. His narrative on the way to the lcoality set the scene for a highly insightful day. His knowledge is second to none. The day excursion was extremely well organised in comfortable vehicle, great lunch an fantastic locations. Highly reccomended by me.

After looking at a few tours we decided to do this one last Friday. It was AMAZING! The full day tour was worth every penny as it also covered our museum entrance fees, lunch etc and there is no way we would have seen as much or learnt as much if we had tried to ”do our own thing”. Nathan knew so much and made it very personal for all of us too, taking us to see the memorials which meant the most to each one of us, even going out of his way to help me buy flowers (on a bank holiday when most shops were closed!) to lay on my relation’s war grave. We would recommend this tour to anyone and haven’t stopped talking about it since! Thank you Nathan.
