I took Nathan’s tour in June and have recommended it to a friend who is visiting us in Brugge. Nathan is knowledgeable and compassionate about his subject and was able to answer every question we put to him. He carried a small library in the back of his van and showed us details for the sites he described. The restaurant lunch was delicious and we really enjoyed the opportunity to chat with the Canadians and British who were in our small group.

Nathan? What can we say? The most professional, likeable and knowledgeable tour guide we’ve ever encountered. From the first (punctual) minute when you picked us up in Brugge to dropping us off we were in the company of someone who cares, both for the people you are enlightening on your tour and more importantly for your subject matter; your country, your people and the ones we were privileged to honour at the Menin Gate. A truly unforgettable day. Thank you. We will of course recommend your tour to our friends at home and, for anyone reading this review online, please take the opportunity to book Nathan as a guide. You will not be disappointed.

Taking Nathan’s full day tour was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Europe. He is very informative and engaging and we really gained a better understanding of the Great War through this tour and from Nathan. I am so glad we did not just attempt to find these sites on our own and chose an excellent guide instead. Thanks again Nathan.

This tour is as good as it gets. Nathan has an amazing knowledge of the area and its history. Be careful to keep a track of time because it is easy to get engrossed and miss things. The small group works great and the lunch was good too!

Hello Nathan,

Thank you for the excellent and thought provoking tour of the battlefields and military cemetaries of Flanders. We were amazed that after almost 100 years, live shells are still turning up in farmer’s fields and construction sites. We will highly recommend your tour to any of our friends or aquaintances who are planning a trip to Belgium.
