”In November 2011 my wife, Naomi, and I joined a small group on Nathan Ghysbrecht’s
excellent ’Flanders Fields Day-Tour’. Nathan picked us up at our Bruges hotel & brought
us back after a truly memorable day.

In our view this is a ”must” for any visitor to Belgium who wants an insight into one of
history’s most important and tragic events. Nathan is definitely the supreme guide who
brought the whole sad business to life. We also enjoyed a pleasant lunch with Nathan
and the other four folks on the tour.

All-in-all excellent value for money with information and memories for a lifetime”

January 5th 2012 . We have just returned from the day tour to the battlefields of Flanders with our guide, Nathan. What a fantastic experience and made all the more realistic by having Nathan as our guide. What he doesn’t know about WW1 and the events surrounding it really isn’t worth knowing and he managed to bring it all to life for us by taking to us some to very interesting places - trenches, the frontline and no-man’s land explaining how all of these places related to what we know about the war.I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone and not only those with a real passion for this particular period of history. Thanks, Nathan, for a great day.

What a day!!
Most excellent small group with a very knowledgeable and charismatic host for the day.
Kept my interest up all day with constant information.
Canít recommend them enough if you want an authentic experience with real detail from the population who went through it at the time.
Brilliant!

We did the battle field tour on 08 Dec 2011 and had Nathan as our tour guide.
He picked us up at the Hotel at the time he stated he would. He was very professional, knowledgeable and informative of all things pertaining to World War One. Indeed, his running commentary between each site made us feel as if we were reliving the experiences of the soldiers on the battlefied. We certainly returned with a better understanding of the extreme hardships those service men endured as we were given the opportunity to experience the trenches and view other artefacts, including the magic lantern photos in the museum at Hill 62 Station. We enjoyed a tasty lunch in the beautiful city of Ypres and we
found the Menin Gate, and indeed all the beautifully tended war cemetries very emotive and thought provoking.
Can heartly recommend this tour.
