Went on this tour last weekend. Exceptional in terms of organisation, itinerary and information provided by Nathan. Made us realise sheer scale and of this war. Very poignant and we talked about it long afterwards. Also great value for money and liked the fact we got some shrapnel afterwards to keep as a reminder of this day. All in all highly recommended

I have always wanted to take a tour of Flanders fields, never quite had the opportunity and always wondered a bit that it would not live up to expectations. This tour more than exceeded what we had hoped for. Nathan picked us up on time, stored our luggage in his van and as soon as he started his commentary we knew we had done the right thing. The tour is an excellent mixture of the huge and powerful cemeteries and museums, and the smaller, less well known stories, such as the chance to see the ’harvest’ of ammunition that farmers still collect every year. The atmosphere was just right-Nathan is so knowledgeable but and delivers his commentary with a mixture of passion and humour. Totally recommended

I have just returned from a short break in Bruges and have not been able to stop thinking about this tour. It is probably one of the best tours I have ever taken anywhere.

I find it impossible to believe that I was unsure about booking this because 65 euro seemed expensive. At the end of the day I handed over the money gratefully, feeling as if I wanted to pay more for such a wonderful experience. This is certainly value for money.

Nathan picked me up from my hotel at exactly the time agreed and dropped me off at the station well in time to catch a connecting train the Brussels, he even packed my luggage into his boot so I didn’t have to leave it in left luggage. In the minivan Nathan uses a radio mic to give you his commentary. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Flanders and is able to show you spectacular sights that would be hard or impossible to find alone. You also get to visit three museums which are all very high quality. The range of things you see is amazing from military cemeteries to bunkers and trenches.

At lunch time Nathan took us for a lovely lunch at a local pub in Ypres and to have the food and drink of that quality included in the price was a real treat.

The quality offered here is so high and I just cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

We took the Flanders Fields Daytour on Tues 18/10/11. We were picked up on time by Nathan and then another 5 guests joined us. It was a miserable very wet day to start with but did brighten up. Nathan is a wealth of knowledge and the trip was very informative and very emotional, very eerie and brought it home to Alan and myself what those soldiers had to go through. I would fully recommend this tour, next time we visit Bruges we will do the alternative Last Post Evening Tour. Highly recommended.....oh and a lovely lunch in a Restaurant not a packed lunch like other tours offer. Do yourself a favour and book this amazing tour.

Our day tour was on Sept 4, 2011. Nathan picked us up right on time at the door of our B&B, very convenient. There were 4 couples, very comfortable in the minivan. The small group allows for a more personal experience, which we really enjoy. Nathan was extremely knowledgeable, the tour was very educational and interesting. We highly recommend it. We stopped at a cafe for a delightful Belgian lunch, went thru the museum which is amazing. Saw ammunition on the side of the road, which is still being found in the fields. Heard and saw so much history it was just amazing. EXCELLENT TOUR.
