We had an excellent day touring the WW1 battlefield sites with Nathan. The whole day was very well organised with plenty of time at the various stops to take in the atmosphere and contemplate what we were being shown. Nathan’s knowledge of and passion for his subject shines through and this makes it an informative and thought provoking day. We are already recommending this tour to our friends.

What an unforgetable tour! Nathan’s small group trip of the Flanders Fields Battlefields was informative and felt more like a friend showing you some major points of interest versus a tour group.

Nathan was not only informative but he also provided us the opportunity to walk in trenches, visit isolated sites and time to individually explore memorials and battlefields. A very reflective day. . . Freedom is not free.

Thank you so much.

Thanks to Nathan for a great day we had on Sunday. A really informative day and saw so many things that you wouldn’t see on a big tour bus. It was great to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel and able to relax and listen to Nathan telling the stories of the people who fought and of those who lived in Flanders during WW1. If you go to Bruges for a few days, make sure you book this tour!

An excellent, informative and personalised tour. We thought that Ypres was beautiful and the small size of the group enabled us to see many varied locations. Nathan is very knowledgeable and indulged us with a diversion to see my ancestor’s grave at Poperinghe - thank you, Nathan.

Nathan’s understanding and knowledge of WW1 history was outstanding and brought real life and emotion to the day. The small group worked well and allowed us to cover many sites without the usual delays experienced with a large bus group. We covered a large area and many varied sites with Nathan taking into account the different nationalities on board and showing them relevant points of interest. This day was the highlight of our visit to Bruges and we would highly recommend this tour to others with an interest in the great war.
