My mother and i thoroughly enjoyed this tour

despite the driving rain which accompanied us.

Nathan was extremely knowledgeable and

had a great depth of understanding about

his subject which he vividly brought to life.

It was an action-packed day visiting many sites,

several off the beaten track. It was great to be

chauffeured about with nothing to do but listen and learn.

Loved every minute. date of visit 8.09.10

An excellent and most informative day tour visiting the Battlefields, the Menin Gate, museum, trenches and dugout tunnel. (it also included an excellent lunch).
Nathan’s knowledge of the Great War was phenominal, bringing to life just how it must have been all those years ago.
We can thoroughly recommend this as a ’must’ day tour.
Thank you Nathan.

Nathan.
Thank you for a wonderful tour on the 10th November. You gave us an insight into a terrible conflict and showed us so much of interest, no matter what the weather was, we became so enthralled by your storytelling and knowledge it really did not matter. I wanted to thank you again for finding my two great uncles’ names on the Menin Gate and giving me the crosses, they suddenly turned into two real young men not just old sepia photo’s. Your act of kindness meant a lot, many thanks for a wonderful day, including a lovely lunch!

What an informative day, we were quite astounded how much Nathan managed
to cram into the one day tour, while accommodating individual side trips, at the same time.
He was very informative, very knowledgeable and ready to answer any relevant questions. Some of the small offbeat ’pit stops’ were very entertaining.
We also enjoyed Nathan’s own take on the political situation at that time, while not getting too bogged down in the minute details that sometimes occurs on these types of tours.
A very sobering but enlightening experience. For a general comment we found the tour
price very reasonable considering the provided restaurant meal and admission fees.
Highly recommended! Stephen London /Tom & Dawn Milwaukee

Nathan led our party last Wednesday 20.10.10 on an informative and intelligently planned well led tour. The personal atmosphere ,against the background of his local knowledge and obvious passion for the subject are a powerful combination. The driving rain and wide range of sites visited helped to glimpse something of the enormity and futility of war and its impact on Belgium itself. Highly recommended.
