The tour was extremely interesting and presented in a very informative manner by Nathan. It was everything we had hoped for and looked forward to. Even though we both had a very good prior understanding of the history of WW1 we nevertheless learned much from the tour and in particular Nathan’s commentary. The transport was comfortable and the lunch included was an enjoyable bonus. Nathan suggested Carlito’s restaurant for dinner in Bruges and it proved to be an excellent choice. We thoroughly recommend this organisation.

We would urge any visitor to Bruges to take one or both of Nathan’s tours. Earlier this week, we went on his day tour, and it was totally memorable. His knowledge of the tragic events of 1914 to 1918 is unrivalled, and he also manages to tell you much in adition about life today in Flanders. Because of the small numbers, he is also able to take you to spots where other operators probably cannot. He is charming, considerate and very amusing. We felt that we were in the best hands from being collected at our apartment until being returned there. Despite many poignant moments during the day, he managed to make lunch a light-hearted affair for all five of us on the tour. Any visitor on his or her own will never feel out of it.

The Flanders fields day tour was the highlight of our trip.

Nathan had an insane amount of knowledge

not just about WW1 but practically anything you asked him about!

We found the day was organised perfectly,

it flowed well, we had time to look

through museums, and with Nathan always at hand sharing his wealth of knowledge,

any questions could be answered at any time.

One of the best organised tours Iíve ever done, it is an absolute must if you go to bruges,

even if u only have the wknd- make sure you fit it in!!!

Date of tour: 07/04/10.
The battlefields tour was definitely the highlight of our few days in Bruges. We were amazed by Nathan’s fantastic knowledge of WW1. The places that we visited- the museums, cemeteries, monuments, the re-built city of Ypres - all gave a very poignant insight into the terrible consequences of war, something that many of us too young to have experienced sometimes fail to recognize. Thank you Nathan for giving us a day that we shall never forget; absolutely brilliant. I’d highly recommend it, for all age groups!

Thank you, Nathan, for a moving and memorable day last Friday. We haven’t stopped telling people about it ever since. Actually seeing the Battle fields first hand brought to life what we had only known vaguely. We valued the thoughts you shared during our return journey.
