Nathan, thank you for such a wonderful day. You took the time , not only to find my Grandfathers grave, but also to point out sights and places pertinent to his time there. The knowledge you imparted to us was invaluable, the places you took us memorable and your explanations of the plight of those left behind in that devastation humbling. You brought it all alive to us. Thank you again.

Back in the States, bags unpacked, remembering all that we did while in Belgium, and in agreement that Nathan’s outstanding tour of Flanders was easily the highlight. Anyone visiting Bruges would be remiss not to begin exploring and understanding WWI with Nathan as their guide. One of the most informative, most complete, most well organized tours we’ve ever taken. The horrors of that war are real and we all need to learn, remember and then honor those who endured those horrors.

Last week we took Nathan’s full day battlefield tour with our 12 year old son.

It was enjoyable, educational, and emotional -

easily the highlight of our trip to Belgium and the Netherlands.

The tour was very well organized and paced, with appropriate

amounts of time allocated to each stop,

a nicely balanced mix of cemeteries, museums, trenches and

other ”sights”and a delicious, relaxing lunch.

Nathan shared his tremendous knowledge about,

and insight into, the war clearlyand generously, effectively bringing the area and its history to life.

He also included many stops of particular

interest to us as Canadians, explaining our country’s

specific contribution to the war effort.

We all very much enjoyed our time with Nathan,

and learned extensively about the war.

Our 12 year old son can’t stop talking about the experience -

Nathan was very patient and sensitive in his explanations

of the war and its impact, providing an understanding much richer and deeper than any school lesson.

Our son says that everyone should take this tour!

Thanks Nathan, for a wonderful day and a lasting
memory.

We went on the Battlefields tour with Nathan on 24/03/10 and had a wonderful day. It was a very moving and thought provoking day. We were well looked after and had a lovely lunch in Ypres. Don’t hesitate to book this fab day with Nathan his knowledge of WW1 is second to none.

This is absolutely well worth the money! Nathan doesn’t just know a million things about WWI, he knows about a billion things about history, from all times AND areas - a real history buff. Not only that, his background (we’ll let you find out yourselves) allows him to give viisitors an amazing and unique view of the world at that time.

We did both the day Flanders Fields tour as well as the Last Post Evening tour and cannot think of a better way to learn about Ieper and WWI.

We highly recommend Nathan’s tours to anyone and everyone!
