We went on the Flanders Fields Battlefields tour on the 27th April 2010 and we have both said it was the most interesting and enjoyable tour we have ever been on. A wealth of information was given throughout the day and we learned a great deal more about WW1 than we had known before. Our guide was knowledgeable and amusing, the transport is very comfortable, especially as my Husband is disabled, and it is great value for money. A real must for visitors to Bruges no matter how long the holiday is. Lunch was super in Ypres and we had plenty of time to look around the museums and war graves. It was a very well organised tour and we would recommend anyone to book this tour with this Company,.

We absolutely loved our tour of the battle fields. Nathan was a fount of all knowledge and really took us back in time. I hadn’t appreciated that the landscape is still so marked by the war, and that the locals are still regularly finding battle memorabilia in the fields. It was very moving visiting the cemeteries and being faced with the sheer number of casualties and their youth.

Nathan, our guide, was passionate about ww1 history and we would definitely recommend him.

We toured the Flanders Fields battlefields and musuems with Nathan on April 25 and were very pleased with the tour, his wealth of knowledge and insights, and the professional manner in which the tour was conducted. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends.

The tour was extremely interesting and presented in a very informative manner by Nathan. It was everything we had hoped for and looked forward to. Even though we both had a very good prior understanding of the history of WW1 we nevertheless learned much from the tour and in particular Nathan’s commentary. The transport was comfortable and the lunch included was an enjoyable bonus. Nathan suggested Carlito’s restaurant for dinner in Bruges and it proved to be an excellent choice. We thoroughly recommend this organisation.

We would urge any visitor to Bruges to take one or both of Nathan’s tours. Earlier this week, we went on his day tour, and it was totally memorable. His knowledge of the tragic events of 1914 to 1918 is unrivalled, and he also manages to tell you much in adition about life today in Flanders. Because of the small numbers, he is also able to take you to spots where other operators probably cannot. He is charming, considerate and very amusing. We felt that we were in the best hands from being collected at our apartment until being returned there. Despite many poignant moments during the day, he managed to make lunch a light-hearted affair for all five of us on the tour. Any visitor on his or her own will never feel out of it.
