This is an excellent tour. Nathan picked us up at our B&B which was very convenient. He is very knowedgeable and he brings you to places that you would never find on your own. A tour such as this gives you a feel for the terrible event that took place in Flanders that you cannot get solely from reading a book. The price may seem high but when you consider the lunch, the museum admissions and the cost of transportation, it is actually a bargain.

I enjoyed this day immensely.  Tour guide Nathan has encyclopedic knowledge of the subject of WW I in Flanders and is a person who clearly loves to teach, to share knowledge, in a very inviting way.  He seems to know every square yard of Flanders, exactly what horrors took place there, what remains that lets one “read” the place.
He led an absorbing day of touring.  If you want a break from the topic of WW I, get Nathan to talk about himself... he has had a fascinating succession of professions in far-flung locales.

Fabulous, informative tour.  Thanks
Nathan for the most memorable day
of our trip.  Everything was as
advertised - and most informative.

Very interesting and thought provoking. Nathan’s a great guide and took us to various sites; cemeteries, museums, trenches, bunkas, mine craters, etc. I doubt you could do so much without a guide. Great people on the trip too, I’m still smiling about when the guy from Auz pretended to hide behind his wife when we were looking at one the many munitions at the side of the road, ’just stand there dear’. You can read a little more about some of my thoughts after the visit at http://tinyurl.com/yc4esmf
Oh and don’t forget to take the eye witness leaflet from the Cloth Hall.

Excellent, highly informative, fully comprehensive. All main sites visited. Nathan has expert local knowledge, which he was able to share on a one to one basis. Lunch in Ypres was lovely. All in all a thoroughly worthwhile experience to be highly recommended. 10/10 Nathan. Thanks..
