This was an incredible day trip. Extremely emotional, but a great day. Nathan was a fantastic guide with a huge knowledge of the area and its history. He tailored the trip to suit our interests, and we seemed to fit a huge amount into the day. Highly recommended.

Thanks Nathan for an infomative, thought provoking and moving day in Flanders. You packed a lot into the day without making us feel rushed. We appreciated how you tailored the day to meet the interests of the group. We would strongly recommend this tour.

Nathan was our amazing guide and the most knowledgeable and informative historian imaginable. He took us on a fascinating tour and told us so many interesting facts. Amazing but haunting to see those trenches and to be in an area where so many perished. You can feel it in the air, the death hanging there still almost 100 years later. How nice to do a trip with just our small group too ! A beautiful and unforgettable experience... don’t move to Australia Nathan this is amazing and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I enrolled on a day tour thinking it would give me a break from my wife’s ’shop till you drop’ idea of a long weekend away. Did I have a pleasant surprise!

This tour is excellent. Our guide Nathan showed himself to be extremely knowledgeable, interesting and informative.

He has a rare ability amongst educators to meet the needs of everyone on the tour - be they WW1 gurus or mildly interested individuals looking for a day out away from yet more shops.

It was amazing how much was squeezed into the day; yet I didn’t feel I was being ’herded’ as some tours guides do.

Not a moment was wasted as Nathan provided an amplified, articulate commentary as we traveled between sites.

I was collected from my hotel promptly and delivered back to the door at the time specified. I didn’t want it to end!

Nathan’s pleasant personality and easy going temperament had created a great rapport with everyone on the tour and I arrived back at my hotel wanting more.

I was so enthused by the excursion I even considered enrolling for the Last Post Evening Tour, but alas, time (and more shopping!) would not permit.

My day out in Flanders Fields turned into one of those special occasions you remember and talk about with affection for years to come.

Your visit to the beautiful city of Bruges will be incomplete if you don’t invest in one of the Battlefield Day Tours.
